Taubenheim Gelbvieh, Amherst, Nebraska held their 23rd annual production sale February 4th at the ranch. The Taubenheim’s welcomed a full house crowd, and very friendly weather. Buyers appreciated the heavy muscled, functional cattle offered by the Taubenheim’s, the Denver Pen Champions were well accepted by the crowd.
TAU Fine Tuned 30Z our Balancer Futurity entry, and Pen Bull went home with Tegtmeir Gelbvieh, of Davenport, Ne. he was a January 31 homozygous black son of TAU Tuned In 55T and sold for $13250.
TAU Resolution 65ZET found a new home with Dave Burger & James Mathis of South Dakota. 65Z was our Purebred Futurity bull born February 6th a homozygous black purebred from TAU 920J & RTRT Solution.
Todd Ibach, Sumner, Ne. was top bidder for TAU Mr Total 170Z a February 22 son of DMRS TC Total 048X he was also a Balancer Pen Bull @$8000
TAU 43T 26Z a January 30th homozygous black son of TAU Mr Grid Topper 43T, also a Denver Pen bull went home with Ben Johnson of Mason City, Ne. @$7500
Top selling bred female was TAU Ms. Final Answer 129Y sold to Matt Raile, of St. Frances KS@$2800. He also took home TAU Ms. In Focus 1000Y @$2500. Matt Raile of KS and James Mathis of S.D. were volume buyers of bred females
TAU 2039Z a Western Hauler daughter and 2053Z a TAU Grid Topper 43T daughter went home with Calvin Dannehl of Bertrand NE @$1300.
Volume buyers were David and Roberta Bailey of S.D.
