Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year from the Taubenheim's. This has been a strange year to say the least,
but through it all the crops & cattle came through GREAT we had very good
weaning weights, and the bins are all full. The calves weaned better than
ever with great weights and no sick ones, which always makes for a super
fall. We feel again that we have a great set of bulls and females to offer
you our customers for profitability, and herd improvement.
We are a little behind with our book, as harvest just seemed to last
forever, thank God that we weaned early so that was out of the way while we
were picking. Also a first, at the Taubenheims, Mom & Dad missed weaning as
they were on a very memorable trip to Alaska (everyone should do this) just
so much beauty up there and very good fishing. Mike and his family done a
great job with the farm work and had all of the calves weaned when we
arrived home.
Our 2010 sale bulls have great weaning weights, show us a lot of muscle,
and move out very well, their temperament is the best ever. All bulls are
100% polled, 60% balancers, and 50 Homozygous black for your selection. Our
open females are right out of the keeper pen, and will make some super
replacement females for your herd improvement.
As always, our goal is to help our customers improve their herds and have
the best to sell when it comes weaning time, or calves that will grade well
if fed out. Again this year we will be offering our Denver Pen of 3
Balancers. If you are in Denver stop by and check them out, have a cup of
coffee or maybe a Traeger Beef sandwich. Justin, Tanner, and
Sydney will be showing on the hill, with 3 females and 1 bull.
We hope you had a great
holiday season and are preparing for the up coming calving season, here's
hoping for some nicer weather by then. Our books will be mailed very
soon and will be on this web page in a few days. Questions call Mike
308-233-4704 or Dale 308-826-4771 Hope to see you at the sale Febuary 1st
2010 at the Ranch, 23685 Sartoria Rd. Amherst Ne. 68812 THANKS
THANKS, The Taubenheims
