We would like
to take this opportunity to say THANKS, to everyone that attended our Feb. 6th
production sale and to those that made purchases, we will do everything
to make sure these
bulls and females will help to add to your profits in the cattle business in
the future.
The bulls are
being cared for as if they are our own, will be semen checked March 14th
in preparation to be delivered the first part of April. For all of you that
purchased females, we hope that the bred females have calved and are ready
for pasture. We hope the open females are ready for breeding season
and
ready to produce for you.
We had a few scary days right
before the sale with the very wet 12” of snow
on Thursday, but did end up
with a very nice day, and most had time to get
part of their snow removed
before the sale. Thanks to everyone for braving the weather and attending
our sale, we had a very full house. Super group
of customers, and great sale.
Calving has been going very
well, with 450 calves on the ground and more arriving each day they have
been very healthy and growing like weeds. The mild winter has made the
calving season go very
un-event-full which always
makes for happier cattlemen, and happy wives.
Yes, Tanner
did win his 2nd
State Championship finishing the year @49-0 he is 166-10 in his high-school
career , with 126 of his wins being pins. Yes, Grandma and Grandpa
Taubenheim are very proud and love to brag.
Sydney’s
Basket-ball
team did beat the #1 rated
Hitchcock County team 37-52 to make it to State, so we are very proud of
them also, they got beat by the winning team by 6 @ State so we thought it
was a good year.
Yes
time flies, hope all is going well on your Ranch, and calving is about
finished. Have the greatest spring ever keep them growing cattle prices are
great.
